This presentation will show some of the ways that new automation technologies are reshaping the landscape in Foundries and Die Casting plants.
Frederick Kolak, a leading global expert from Automation Innovation and Director at CSF Robotics, will bring his decades of experience in surface finishing, corrosion alloys, electroplating, PVD coatings, and ionic solutions R&D to the floor. His perspective on automating complex post-casting processes—especially robotic fettling and finishing—will highlight how to automate, so that foundries can achieve higher safety, precision, and throughput.
Vikas Markanday, Co-founder and Director of The Robot Doctor, has over 20 years’ experience in industrial automation across Australia’s manufacturing sector. He specializes in scalable robotic solutions tailored for real-world foundry environments—enabling consistent quality, reduced manual handling, and smarter workflows across handling and integration systems.
