Stegbar have operated in the Australian building industry for 75 years with a current product range of windows, doors, wardrobes, shower-screens, splashbacks and mirrors.

The global company Jeld-Wen encompasses the Stegbar, Corinthian, Airlite, Regency and William Russell brands. At the Rowville site, the Stegbar business units of windows, doors and shower-screens operate alongside Regency shower-screens and wardrobes and William Russell doors.

This site visit will take you through the Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing journey of the Stegbar wardrobes and shower-screens manufacturing facility. You’ll see what is being done well, the challenges that remain, and the tools that are being used to track and advance performance.

Whether you produce castings, shower-screens or widgets there is always something to be learnt from seeing and hearing about another manufacturer’s journey.

This is a joint ADCA/AFI Meeting which has been organised by the AFI.
