Voestalpine is the new corporate name for the European tool steel manufacturer Bohler-Uddeholm.

In this presentation to industry, they will cover two main topics. The first being on the latest grades of hot work die steels and their application in Die Casting, Hot Upsetting and Forging.

The second topic will be on new steel alloy powders which are used to manufacture parts by 3D Printing (Additive Manufacturing). These materials enable high quality components to be made in steel and other alloys, for use in hot work tooling, Die Casting dies, Plastic tooling, cold-work tools and non-tooling applications.

Come along and learn how these new materials and techniques are being used in a range of industrial applications.
