Albins Performance Transmissions specialise in the design and manufacture of drivetrain components for high performance applications. With a 30 year history of supply to global markets of extreme duty driveline applications, Albins is the largest high performance transmission manufacturer in the Southern hemisphere.

It’s over 3 years since we last visited Albins, giving us an insight into their innovative products and precision machining. At that stage they were experiencing a period of stabilisation after taking a big hit with the Global Financial Crisis. Diversifying the customer base to include Defence industry applications proved to be a successful direction to take. This has led to the need for Albins to relocate to a much bigger site last year.

This is a great opportunity to see how a globally leading manufacturer continues to meet the challenges of doing business.

1. Arrive at the plant at 4:45pm ready for the tour which will begin at 5:00 pm sharp
2. Attendees to bring: eye protection, high visibility vest and appropriate footwear.
3. At the conclusion of the tour, attendees will make their way to the Lake View Hotel where a 2 course meal will be provided. This will be an opportunity for further discussions.
