This event has been organized by the Australian Foundry Institute, Victorian Division, but may well be of interest to some ADCA members who are welcome to attend.
The presentation will be by Daniel Zeelie who is the General manager of Saveway Furnace Monitoring. www.saveway-germany.de
Saveway is a German based company that specializes in refractory lining monitoring solutions for foundry and pyro-metallurgical furnaces. The system allows the continuous measurement of the remaining lining thickness during furnace operation. In addition to visible signs of wear, such as erosion and worn-out areas, wear conditions like metal penetrations and fins are reliably detected. Saveway have over 1000 furnace installations with a reported 34% improvement in lining life.
