Event Details

The first meeting for 2019 will be a joint meeting between the AFI and ADCA on the important topic of training new people in our industry.

There are plenty of good young people who are looking for an opportunity to enhance their knowledge, skills and job prospects. It is up to you, and your company, to take them on, and ensure that you have sufficient well-trained technical staff for the future.

The foundry industry is in the process of re-starting apprentice training in Moulding and Patternmaking and this presentation will provide information on how it will operate.

However, the presentations will also focus on how to go about engaging an apprentice in your workplace and the assistance that is available to companies today.

Come along and have direct contact with the people that can be of assistance in recruiting and training apprentices in all fields.
