This presentation will be about Non-Contact 3 Dimensional measurement of castings for Quality Control applications.

Presented by Scan-Xpress, it will demonstrate how 3D scanning technology can be used for a full surface measurement of a cast part using a series of captured images. The computed mesh model can then be compared to the original CAD data to reveal surface deviations, geometric positioning and wear analysis.

This use of this technology improves measurement efficiency, reporting and data acquisition of important information about your castings and your processes.

This is another joint ADCA-AFI event that will be of interest to people involved with any type of casting or forging.
