This month’s activity is a joint ADCA-AFI Meeting which will be a plant visit to Mett Pty Ltd in Noble Park, Victoria.

Mett Pty Ltd is a world-class manufacturing facility which supplies high-end Die Cast components to the global automotive sector. The plant has extensive robotics, precision machining and in-house tool making. (www.mett.com.au)

Participants are asked to meet at the plant at 3:45 pm, ready for a 4:00 pm start of the plant tour.

After the tour, participants will travel to the Village Green Hotel, Mulgrave, where dinner will be served in the private Function Room. This will enable further discussions and questions regarding the plant.

Important Information:

All tour participants must bring along their own Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): eye protection, hearing protection and a high visibility vest. (arms, legs and feet must also be appropriately covered). If you do not have appropriate PPE on the day, you will not be able to join the plant tour.

All participants are to park in Area 1 (white building) and report to reception.

Booking:

For safety and logistical reasons, there will be a limit to the number of people on this tour. Therefore, you will need to book and pay in advance. The cost of this event is $30 which includes a main meal. (Drinks, dessert and coffee are at members expense).
